Meet The Talented Cast of “Nested”

Robin Rintoul

as… Elaine Richardson

Robin is thrilled to make a return to the stage. Having studied Theatre Arts at Laurentian University in the late nineties, she took on various roles, such as “Red” in Judith Thompson’s Tornado! and “Bella” in Little Sister by Joan Macleod, where Robin also assumed the directorial role. Since then, she’s moved around a lot and raised her son, who is now a teenager. This life experience has given her a deep connection with the character Elaine in the upcoming show.

Sid Duggan

as… David Richardson

Sid has been a member of KTG for 14 years, participating in numerous plays and undertaking a diverse range of backstage responsibilities. To keep his mind sharp, Sid engages in puzzles, aiding in the retention of his lines during performances. This practice serves to keep him occupied during the night, while his dual roles as a supply teacher and handyman contribute to his daytime pursuits. Sid finds amateur theatre to be a delightful pastime, offering a plethora of possibilities, and he wholeheartedly recommends it to anyone.

Daniel Mahood

as… Michael Richardson

Daniel is a new member of the KTG, debuting in the winter 2024 production of Nested. Daniel has a variety of creative interests, such as sketching, baking, and crochet. Daniel is thrilled to be a part of this production, and has felt very welcomed by the guild.

Elaina Ravell

as… Lorie Richardson

Elaina Ravell plays lovesick middle sister Lorie Richardson in Nested. This is Elaina’s second role with KTG, her first being fall 2023’s hit production of Beauty and the Beast. She is also currently involved in KDSS production of Newsies. After finishing high school Elaina is hoping to continue with her passion and become an actress, both on stage and on screen.

Kristina Meisenheimer

as… Blaine Richardson

Kristina Meisenheimer assumes the role of Blaine Richardson, the wedding-obsessed older sister in Nested, marking her third collaboration with KTG. Previously, she portrayed the arrogant British museum curator Helena Hobbs in Curse of The Silver Pharaoh and took on a dual role as the laundry lady and the tap-dancing Gargoyle in KTG’s hit production of Beauty and The Beast. In the latter, she also shared the role of narrator with another talented actor, reading the prologue at every other performance. Also interested in the behind-the-scenes aspects, Kristina is fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to shadow the talented director Jaki Mayer-Duggan in Nested. Despite her relatively short time in the guild, she acknowledges the profound impact of her theatrical journey, encouraging those with an interest to consider joining the theatre guild themselves. 

Leise Peddie

as… Rose Robinson

Leise is a founding member of KTG and has loved live theatre since a child.  She has worked in every department over the years which gave her a great appreciation of each person’s contribution to the production, working as a team.  It was a delight for her to direct, “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Waiting for the Parade”, “Enchanted April” to mention a few.  Acting in “Stillborn Lover”, “Hollywood Arms” and many musicals, including the beloved Joseph, Kincardine Calls, and Annie, was a joy to her.  She hopes you sit back enjoy this production of Nested.
